At the end of the 12th century in England and Sir Robin Longstride (Russell Crowe) back to his village after bertempuran in the third Crusade, he finds oppression carried out by the Sheriff of Nottingham in the new (Matthew Macfadyen). Sir Robin's use of intelligence and military skills to free the village from tyranny and corruption in the UK, by taking back what is right, and seize what belongs to them legally, to restore justice and welfare in the UK. Robin also must win the love of Lady Marian (Cate Blanchett), a newly widowed, while he must lead the Sherwood forest troops to victory and justice.
