The Dreamers tells the story of a student-exchange student from San Diego, Matthew (Michael Pitt), who came to Paris to learn French. There, he met with Isabelle (Eva Green) the Siamese twins with Theo (Louis Garrel). Because it has a similar background, ie movie lovers, finally they are friends, even the two brothers would invite Matthew to stay in his apartment.
The story then continues when Matthew discovered something unusual from the perspective and behavior of both sisters. Until finally Mattew participate lapse into their relationship and sex experience far beyond his mind, and fall into dreams sisters together. But in the end whether Matthew continues to follow their dreams?
