In about 1970 a mental hospital located on the border of Finland and Russia was forced to shut down by police for allegedly occurred brutal experiments involving the patients there. Just before forcibly closing it, Dr. Andersson (David Yoken) appeared to have made a documentary of his experiments.
Dr. Andersson record murder that occurred there in 8mm film and began to be obsessed film director. He began calling himself the auteur or roughly means the director. Thirty years later, some people who are planning a movie about the events that occurred in the mental hospital arrived in Finland.
Without them knowing it was the brutality that occurred at the hospital was not yet finished. Not long after, strange events began to appear and before the film crew realized they were originally intended to make a movie about the brutal events that actually end up being part of a brutal film work of the auteur.
